There is no UK Casper
Casper ceased UK and European operations in July 2020 to focus on North America. There has been no UK direct channel since.
What that means for a UK buyer: no UK trial period, no UK returns collection, no UK entity administering a warranty claim, and no way to buy the current US range in the sizes that fit your bed.
Anything you find listed as a Casper in the UK today is marketplace stock, parallel import, or old inventory. The mattress may be genuine. The support structure that makes a mattress purchase safe is not there.
Why it is still recommended, five years on
This is the most useful thing on this page, and it is the clearest example of a problem that runs through this whole category.
Casper still appears in current UK mattress roundups. It still has affiliate links pointing at it from British review sites. Those pages rank, they earn, and nobody has checked them since 2019.
The incentive is simple and it does not require anyone to be dishonest. A page that ranks is a page that earns. Updating it costs time. Removing a brand from a list shortens the list. So the page stays up, unchanged, recommending a product the reader cannot buy.

How to check any mattress review
- Does the page say when it was last checked, not just when it was published?
- Does the brand have a live UK website with UK sizes and UK prices?
- Is there a UK company named in the footer or terms? Check it free at Companies House.
- Does the review name an author with stated relevant experience?
A review failing all four is not necessarily wrong. It is unverified, which on a purchase you will live with for eight years is not the same as right.
If you already own a Casper in the UK
Your rights do not depend on the brand still trading here.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, your statutory rights sit with the retailer who sold you the mattress, not the manufacturer. Goods must be of satisfactory quality and last a reasonable length of time, and you have up to six years to bring a claim in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, five in Scotland.
So if you bought from a UK retailer that still trades, that retailer is your route, whatever has happened to Casper here. Find the proof of purchase and the date. After the first six months the burden of proof shifts to you, so an independent assessment helps.

Casper's proposition in the UK was a mainstream foam mattress with a long trial from a recognisable brand. Several UK brands now do that better.
Nectar Classic Hybrid at £299 with a 365 night trial, the longest in the UK mainstream. Emma Original Lite at £199 with a three-zone spring layer and a 200 night trial. Origin Hybrid at £265 with up to 3,000 pocket springs if construction matters more than brand recognition.
All three are live UK propositions with UK returns operations, which is the thing Casper cannot offer a British buyer at any price.
