Casper Glow Light Construction
The Casper Glow Light is made from diffused polycarbonate. Polycarbonate has very good properties that allow for light transmission and particularly well at diffusing LED hotspots to create a seamless light emission.
The installed lights are 36x warm white LED array with 12x accent LEDs in amber. With a 2700K colour temperature. To put this into perspective, a light bulb that generates light perceived as yellowish-white will have a colour temperature of around 2700K such as the Casper Glow Light. As this metric increases, it will become more white and at the end of the spectrum, around 6000K it will be a blueish white.
The Casper Glow Light has an IP rating of 54 (IP54) which means it is protected from limited dust ingress as well as water spray from any direction.
Included in its construction is communication through Bluetooth which is also used to pair the Casper Glow Lights if you buy a pair but we will get into this later.
Finally, it is charged through a wireless base as seen in the image below, which means it can also be used portably.
