I spent more than ten years in the UK mattress trade before starting this site, and the thing that pushed me into writing it was watching review sites recommend mattresses that could not be bought in Britain. Casper withdrew from the UK in July 2020 and still appears in current best-of lists. Leesa no longer sells here and does the same. A page that ranks earns whether or not the product exists, and updating it costs time nobody spends.
So this site does a few things differently. Scores use the whole range, including 5.2 for a mattress from a brand most people trust. Every review names a competitor I would buy instead. Every review carries one correction you can check on the manufacturer's own page or at Companies House. And where I cannot confirm whether a brand still trades in Britain, the page carries no score rather than a guess.
