Nine layers with selectable firmness, squeezed between the Elite and the Ultima and priced closer to the Ultima.

Verdict
Nine layers with selectable firmness options, sitting between the Elite and the Ultima in Brook + Wilde's range and priced closer to the Ultima than the Elite. The firmness choice at point of order is the feature worth having, and it is not the same thing as being able to change your mind later.
Buy it if
You know exactly which firmness you want, you have found it discounted, and you are relying on statutory rights rather than the guarantee.
Avoid it if
You are uncertain about firmness. Choosing at checkout is not the same as Eve's flippable design.

The scores
Good construction with a useful option, priced against much better value elsewhere.
Nearly 1,300 pounds when Origin's LumbarCloud is 797 with up to 8,000 springs.
Nine layers and a selectable firmness lets you match the mattress to your build.
Depth handles heat adequately.
Reasonable. No specific reinforcement claimed at this price.
Multi-layer pocketed construction.
The 2023 liquidation is why this scores low despite generous stated terms.
Choosing firmness at checkout is not the same as changing it later
Brook + Wilde lets you select a firmness when you order, and several brands do this. It is genuinely better than a single fixed option, and it is worth being precise about what it does not solve.
Choosing at checkout means guessing before you have slept on it. You are making the same decision you would make between two different mattresses, with the same information, which is almost none. If you guess wrong, you are into a returns process.
Eve's Wunderflip lets you flip the top section after purchase, repeatedly, for the life of the mattress. That is a different and better answer to the same problem, because it moves the decision to after you have the information rather than before.
So treat a firmness option at checkout as a useful narrowing, not as insurance.
The positioning problem
The Suprema sits between the Elite at 995 and the Ultima at 1,395, and it is priced at 1,295, which is a hundred pounds from the top of the range and three hundred from the middle.
That makes it hard to place. If you are spending 1,295 you are close enough to the Ultima to take the extra depth and spring count. If 1,295 feels like a lot, the Elite at 995 is the more sensible stopping point.
The firmness selection is the argument for the Suprema specifically, and whether that is worth being squeezed between two better-defined models is a genuine question.
A correction worth making
Commonly repeated, and wrong
Selectable firmness at the point of order is frequently presented alongside genuinely adjustable mattresses as though they solve the same problem. They do not. Choosing a firmness at checkout requires you to guess before sleeping on the mattress, with the same near-total absence of information you would have choosing between two products. An adjustable mattress moves that decision to after you have the information, which is the only version that actually removes the risk.
Should you buy it?
Only on a substantial discount, and only if you are confident about which firmness to select.
If firmness uncertainty is the reason the option appeals, the Eve Wunderflip Premium lets you change your mind afterwards, which is what you actually want.
