Simba Pillow Discount Codes
The proportional saving on bedding is usually larger than on mattresses, and Simba's schemes cover both.

Bedding prices and scheme rates both move
Everything below describes how this brand's bedding discounting and accessory terms work rather than promising a number that will still be live when you read it. Scheme rates and product prices change independently. Judge the cash price, and note that bedding carries shorter terms than the mattresses.
Why bedding is where the discount is worth more
Two reasons, and both are structural rather than seasonal.
Bedding carries higher margins than mattresses. There is simply more room in the price, so a percentage off a pillow or a protector represents a larger real reduction than the same percentage off a mattress.
The schemes usually cover it. Simba's community hero discount runs up to 31 per cent off everything, not only mattresses. If you qualify, and that covers NHS staff including administrative roles, teachers and school support staff, emergency services, armed forces and veterans, and students, it applies to pillows, duvets and protectors too.
So if you are working down the sensible upgrade order, a scheme discount is best spent on the cheap end of it rather than saved toward a mattress.
The order to upgrade a bed in
| Change | Rough cost | What it fixes |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Pillowcase | £10 to £20 | The layer against your face. Polyester insulates and holds moisture. |
| 2. Duvet tog | £30 to £80 | Waking up hot. More often the cause than the mattress. |
| 3. Pillow height | £30 to £70 | Neck ache, which is the most common problem blamed on a mattress. |
| 4. Protector | £20 to £40 | The commonest reason a guarantee claim is refused. |
| 5. Topper | £100 to £200 | A sound mattress that is too firm. Not a sagging one. |
| 6. Mattress | £200 and up | Support. Nothing above this list fixes support. |
Almost everyone goes bottom-up, starting with the mattress because it is the thing they think about. The exception is clean: if your mattress has dipped more than about 25 millimetres, skip to the bottom, because nothing above it will help.
Which Simba pillow, if any
| Product | My score | Verdict |
|---|---|---|
| Hybrid Pillow | 7.9 | Micro-springs hold height and let air through, which no other fill does at once. |
| CustomFlex Pillow | Not scored | Withdrawn from the range. A discount cannot apply to a pillow Simba no longer lists. |
| Hybrid 3-in-1 Duvet | 7.8 | Three warmth levels from one purchase, and the two can be used separately. |
| Mattress Protector | 7.5 | The cheapest insurance in bedding. Buy one whatever else you do. |
| Hybrid Firm Pillow | Not scored | Simba renamed this the CustomFlex and has since withdrawn it, so there is nothing here to discount. |
| Cool Foam Topper | 6.6 | Softens most, and warms you. Wrong on a Simba hybrid. |
The strategic buy: the Hybrid pillow if you do not know your loft, since it is the adjustable one Simba still sells, and a protector regardless.
The strategic no: the foam topper on a Simba hybrid. It sits above the springs and cuts you off from the airflow that was the entire argument for the mattress.
The free fix to try first
Before buying any pillow, run the test that costs nothing.
Lie in the position you actually sleep in for ten minutes so the pillow settles, then have someone look at you from behind. Your neck should be a straight continuation of your spine: tipped up means too high, dropped means too low.
Two involuntary signals are more reliable still. An arm habitually under your pillow means it is too low. Waking having pushed it aside means too high.
Hotels solve this by leaving more than one option in the room. Premier Inn supplies a choice of firm or soft rather than a single medium, so a guest can stack, swap or drop one. You can do the same at home tonight with pillows you already own.
Bedding has the best discount and the weakest terms
The general rule is on the discount codes hub, and on bedding it is easier to apply than on mattresses, because a pillow at a given cash price is a cheap thing to judge on its own merits. The section above makes the case that a scheme discount goes furthest on bedding. Here is the other half of that decision, which is that the terms go least far on the same items.
Simba accessories get a 30-night trial, not the 200 nights the mattresses get, and a one-year guarantee rather than ten. That covers pillows, duvets, bedding and slippers alike, and it is published in the brand's help centre rather than buried. Two further conditions differ from the mattress trial and both matter practically. The return request has to be submitted within 30 days of the original delivery date, and items must go back in their original packaging, which the 200-night mattress trial does not require. The return itself is a no-cost drop-off at a post office against a QR code rather than a collection from the house.
Which gives a short and slightly unglamorous instruction that will save more than any code. Keep the bag the pillow came in, and put a date in your diary for day 25. A pillow is exactly the product a trial exists for, because nobody can specify their own loft in advance, and it is also the product most likely to be slept on for six weeks before anyone admits it is wrong. At that point the discount is irrelevant and so is the trial.
One exclusion is worth knowing before you chase the deepest saving. Refurbished accessories are excluded from the one-year guarantee entirely. On a mattress that trade is often worth making, because the saving is large; on a pillow the absolute saving is a few pounds and the cover is the only thing you were getting, so refurbished bedding is the one place in this range where the discount is not the better buy. For reference, the brand's cot bed mattresses get two years and refurbished mattresses one, and mattress guarantees sets out how short-term cover like that usually behaves.
So the order is unchanged from the table above, with one addition. Work up the list cheapest first, spend an eligibility rate on the bedding rather than saving it towards a mattress, and treat the 30 nights as the real constraint on the purchase. Thirty nights and the original packaging is plenty of trial for a pillow, provided you use it.
Questions people ask
Do Simba discounts cover bedding?
The community hero scheme runs up to 31 per cent off everything, not only mattresses. Bedding carries higher margins than mattresses, so the same percentage is a larger real reduction.
Which Simba pillow should I buy?
The Hybrid, at 7.9. It is the only adjustable pillow Simba now sells, it holds height and it breathes. The CustomFlex, which used to be the answer if you did not know your loft, has been withdrawn.
What should I upgrade before buying a new mattress?
Pillowcase, duvet tog, pillow height and a protector, in that order. All four cost a fraction of a mattress and between them they cause most of the complaints that send people looking for one.
