Silentnight Discount Codes
Silentnight sells through almost every UK retailer, so the same mattress carries eight different prices at once and the spread between them is usually wider than any discount code.
I earn a commission if you buy through some links on this page. It never changes what I recommend, and I publish negative verdicts on brands I earn from. Editorial independence.
Short answer
Silentnight is the most widely discounted mattress brand in the UK because it sells through almost every retailer. The code on Silentnight's own site is rarely the best price available, and checking Argos, Dunelm and Amazon for the same model is worth more than any voucher.

Buying direct is the only way to get the 60 night comfort exchange. Third party retailers give you standard returns.
No code needed. The discount is applied automatically at checkout. Opening the site in a new tab.
Silentnight on Amazon UK
Often the lowest price on the rolled Sleep Now and Just Sleep lines. Price moves daily.
No code needed. Prices on Amazon change frequently, so check the seller and the returns terms before you buy. Opening in a new tab.
What to expect, by route
Every figure below is a range I have seen rather than a promise. Discounts in this category move constantly, and the point of the table is to tell you what good looks like so you know whether the offer in front of you is worth taking or worth waiting out.
| Route | Typical | Best I have seen | Worth taking? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Silentnight direct sale | 20% to 30% typical | Model-specific codes have reached 25% on single lines | Yes, and buying direct keeps the 60 night comfort exchange |
| Argos | Independent sales, often on specific models | Frequently the lowest price on Miracoil and entry Mirapocket | Yes, if you do not need the exchange |
| Dunelm | Seasonal sales and clearance | Deep on end-of-line models | Check clearance rather than the main range |
| Amazon UK | Widely stocked, price fluctuates daily | Often the lowest on rolled Sleep Now and Just Sleep lines | The most likely place to find the best price |
| Very and Littlewoods | Credit-led pricing, frequent promotions | Percentage codes on first orders | Only if you want the credit terms |
| John Lewis | Rarely the cheapest | Competitive on the premium Mirapocket lines | Worth it for the service and guarantee handling |
| Black Friday | Every retailer discounts independently | The spread between retailers widens, not narrows | Yes, and this is when comparing retailers pays most |
| End of line clearance | Deepest prices Silentnight ever reaches | Run-out models at well under half | The single best value, if the model suits you |
Silentnight is sold everywhere, and that is the whole point
Unlike the bed-in-a-box brands, Silentnight is a wholesale business. The same mattress appears at Argos, Dunelm, Amazon, Very, John Lewis and independent bed shops, each setting its own price and running its own sales.
This changes how you should shop. With Emma or Simba there is one price and the only question is the discount. With Silentnight there are eight prices for the same product at any given moment, and the spread between them is often larger than any discount code.
The single most useful thing on this page
Find the exact model name and spring count, then search that specific string rather than the brand. "Silentnight Mirapocket 1200" will find you the same mattress at five retailers. "Silentnight mattress" will find you a sales page.
Knowing which range you are looking at
Silentnight's naming is genuinely confusing, and retailers make it worse by inventing their own descriptions. The ranges that matter:
- Miracoil. Open coil, the entry level. Springs are linked, so motion transfers across the bed. Fine for a single or a guest room, poor for couples.
- Mirapocket. Pocket sprung, with the number indicating spring count in a king size. This is where the range becomes worth buying.
- Sleep Now. Rolled and boxed, delivered in 48 hours. The bed-in-a-box answer, and the range most directly comparable to Emma or Otty.
- Just Sleep. Budget rolled range, sold heavily through third parties.
- Studio. Hybrid rolled range, a step up from Just Sleep.
- Comfort Breathe and UltraGel. Airflow and cooling variants, generally applied across other ranges rather than standing alone.
What the spring numbers actually mean
A Mirapocket 1200 has around 1,200 springs in a king size, not in every size. A double of the same model has fewer. Retailers routinely quote the king count against every size, which is how a single mattress ends up advertised with 1,200 springs when it has closer to 800.
More springs is not automatically better either. Past roughly 2,000 in a king, you are adding thinner gauge wire rather than more support, and the difference you can feel diminishes quickly. A well-made 1,200 with a decent comfort layer beats a poorly made 3,000 every time.
When Silentnight is cheapest
Because the discounting happens at retailer level, Silentnight prices follow retail sale calendars rather than the brand's own. That means January, Black Friday, Amazon Prime events and the various bank holiday sales at Dunelm and Argos.
It also means stock clearance. When a retailer drops a model, the run-out price is usually the lowest that mattress will ever be, and those do not appear on any voucher site because they are not codes.
Is Silentnight worth buying?
For the money, the Mirapocket range is reasonable value and the brand's manufacturing is established. Silentnight has been making mattresses in Barnoldswick since 1946 and holds B Corp certification, which is more than most of the newer brands can say about either.
What you do not get is the trial period. Most Silentnight purchases through third party retailers come with a standard returns policy on an unused mattress, not a hundred nights to sleep on it. Silentnight's own 60 night comfort exchange applies when you buy direct. That is a meaningful difference and it is the main reason to buy from Silentnight rather than from Argos, even if Argos is cheaper.
The Miracoil range is where I would be careful. Linked open coils in 2026 is old technology, and for a couple it is the wrong purchase at almost any price.

Questions people ask
Is there a Silentnight discount code?
Silentnight runs its own sales, but because the brand sells through Argos, Dunelm, Amazon, Very and John Lewis, the same model is discounted independently by each of them. Searching the exact model name and spring count across retailers is worth more than any single code.
What do the Silentnight spring numbers mean?
A Mirapocket 1200 has roughly 1,200 springs in a king size, not in every size. A double has fewer, but retailers routinely quote the king figure against all sizes. Beyond about 2,000 springs in a king you are adding thinner wire rather than more support.
Should I buy Silentnight direct or from a retailer?
Buying direct gets you Silentnight's 60 night comfort exchange. Buying through a third party usually gets you only a standard returns policy on an unused mattress, which is not the same thing. If you are confident about firmness, buy wherever is cheapest. If you are not, buy direct.
