What happened to Eve, and why it matters to you
Eve Sleep was one of the original UK bed-in-a-box brands and was widely covered. It entered administration in October 2022. The brand and its assets were acquired and Eve now trades under Bensonsforbedsretail Ltd, which is stated in the small print on its own site.
Why this matters when you are looking for a discount code: guarantees do not automatically survive an administration intact. If you are researching Eve because you already own one and want to claim, the answer depends on when you bought it and from whom. If you are buying new, you are buying from Bensons, which is a large and established retailer, and that is reassuring rather than worrying.
If you own a pre-2022 Eve
Your statutory rights sit with the retailer who sold it to you, not with the brand. If that retailer still exists, that is your route. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you have up to six years from purchase in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. A guarantee from a company that no longer exists in its original form is worth considerably less than the law.
The Wunderflip range is the genuinely novel thing
Eve's Wunderflip design lets you unzip the cover and flip the top section to change the firmness. Most brands solve firmness uncertainty with a trial period. Eve solves it with construction, which is a better answer.
The Wunderflip Premium Hybrid has 2,500 springs at 28 cm. The Wunderflip Ultimate has 3,000. Both give you a medium and a firm side. If you genuinely do not know what firmness suits you, or if you and a partner disagree, this is the most practical solution on the UK market and it is oddly under-discussed.

Where the discounts land
Eve's deepest cuts tend to land on the Wunderflip Ultimate and the Original, which are the top and bottom of the range. The Original Hybrid at 800 springs is the model to be most cautious about: 800 springs at 25 cm is a modest build, and there are hybrids from Otty and Origin with several times the spring count at similar money.
Eve also sells refurbished mattresses, with the same caveats that apply to every refurbished purchase. Check whether the 200 night trial survives.
Buying Eve through Bensons
Because Bensons owns the brand, you may be able to see an Eve mattress in a Bensons store. If you can, do. Fifteen minutes lying on a mattress tells you more about firmness than any review, including this one.
Is Eve worth buying on a code?
The Wunderflip models, yes. A flippable firmness at 2,500 or 3,000 springs is a genuinely useful design and there is nothing quite like it from the other major brands.
The rest of the range, only on a deep discount. The memory foam models at 28 cm are priced against hybrids that give you more, and the Original Hybrid's 800 springs does not compete with what Otty and Origin are doing at the same price.
