The REM-Fit 500 Hybrid mattress is a multi-layered hybrid design. It is filled with 5 unique layers, 4 foam layers and a spring layer, all wrapped up in a RE-AX thermos-regulating hypoallergenic knitted mattress cover but well get to the details later in the review. Each layer is unique and has a separate purpose, all coming together to make a soft - medium feel mattress.
The first layer is a cool foam layer with the gel infused into the memory foam, this layer is designed to regulate sleeping temperature and engineered to be a supreme comfort layer.
Next, we have another foam layer, the Mediflex memory foam layer. This layer is made to be pressure relieving, taking the weight off your shoulders and putting it into the mattress 😉
The spring layer has around 2000 encapsulated premium pocket springs, devised to move individually and to always remain supportive.
Next, we have the edge-to-edge support walls. These foam walls encase that springs and provide support for the mattress. They keep everything firm on top, so there will be no sagging towards the edge.
Lastly, we have the high-density base foam layer, created to hold firm and serve as a foundation for the mattress.

REM-Fit 500 Mattress Cover
The REM-Fit 500 mattress includes a RE-AX thermos-regulating hypoallergenic knitted mattress cover. What does all of this mean though? let’s get into it.
The cover has a soft silky touch thanks to the knitted design and the construction. The RE-AX fibres are woven into the cover, creating a fully breathable surface, this means it allows air to flow through and gives the cover the thermos-regulating properties. Being hypoallergenic, the cover won’t cause any sniffles and makes for a wonderful sleep surface.
The cover is removable and machine washable, making it convenient and allowing you to ensure it always stays clean.

1. Cool-gel Infused Comfort Layer (5cm)
Unlike other memory foam layers, which heat you up, this is a cool-gel infused memory foam layer. This layer not only moulds to your body but thanks to the infusion, you’ll be kept cool and won’t heat up. The comfort in the heading means that this is the layer gives you that soft feeling as if you’re falling through a cloud, but a cloud that has been designed to support you.

2. Pressure-Relieving Mediflex Memory Foam (2cm)
Sitting above the springs is the pressure-relieving Mediflex memory foam layer. This layer is designed to ease the pressure around the bonier parts of your body. So your hips, shoulders and knees, will be covered and supported.
For those side sleepers out there, this is an ideal solution to those aches and pains. This layer sits above the springs, so it acts as a buffer between your body and the springs as well. This is a comfort and pressure relieving supportive foam layer.

3. Encapsulated Coil Layer (16cm)
The spring layer consists of around 2000 encapsulated premium pocket springs. These springs move individually, not just to better support you as you move but to also localise the movement. This means that when your partner moves, only their springs move and you won’t be bothered or woken by ruffles in the mattress. The lower colour being grey and followed by a light blue and the majority white.
